Show Notes:
Well of course lil' ol' Stevie was greeted in NYC with a wall of Live Nation/Irving Plaza love, that being a $250 ***per camera*** fee for filming (and was told it's normally $7500 per cam...like WTF?).

That said, my lil' TMS group on evil Facebook pitched in enough to cover that thru Paypal ($500 total, one cam each night), and I tried to pretend that "one cam was 5" (as I had planned on using 5 cams, but was unwilling to pay $2500 to do so)...to mostly fantastic results.

The vid (night 1, this one) did make Jambase's "Full Show Friday", and has been linked to an article in Glide Magazine (online), and possibly others as well.

And I will say, the staff at Irving Plaza was MUCH cooler than the one in Philadelphia...I had a little corner to the left of FOX upstairs, and got the monopod nice and secure to the front rail, and they even let me leave it there (taped/ziptied) overnight which saved an easy 20 minutes of setup time.

As for the show...got to hear "Exit" one more time, which is one of my 'handful of favorite songs' by Rich, Marc and Co...and when you start out like that, then throw a "mini Gram Parsons" set in the middle, and sprinkle the rest of the evening with songs like:

"Descending" (Nick *nailed* the outro, and the "Edd-ie Edd-ie" chant after was goosebumpish, though probably more audible on the audie vs. here)

"Miserable" (this song has become John's, sorry Chris)

"Title Song" (always a treat, beginning to end)

"Black Coffee" (sassy yet sharp)

"Don't Wake Me"  (such a great, straight-forward riff)

Right thru show-stopper-and-ender "Sometimes Salvation", this was a great lead-in to the power of the following night.

YET ANOTHER SOUNDBOARD, and this one ***is from New York City***.

The proper procedure is:

---THANK The Magpie Salute for letting me "do what I do"
---profusely thank Dennis for his prompt turnaround time (the holdup is me and getting these notes written)
---tell me to stick it in my ear...or wherever you feel is appropriate

Yet another NYC soundboard and Atlantic City yet to come...

#wholovesyou?
#TMS DOES!!!!

----Dr. Deep is OUT!!!!!
